Toledo

Samedi 10 octobre: mission Tolède! Après une petite demi heure bien confortable de train, une bonne crise de rire devant un groupe de japonais à la gare de Atocha, nous arrivons à la petite gare de Tolède. Un soleil radieux nous accompagne toute la journée nous permettant d'apprécier pleinement les édifices, tous aussi impressionants les uns que les autres par leur grandeur et la richesse de leur décoration... une cathédrale qui regorge de peinture du Greco, ça reste une exception!

Saturday, october 10th: mission of the day Toledo! After a very confy half hour in the train, a very good laugh at Atocha looking at a group of Japanese tourists, we are arriving at the very tiny Toledo train station. The sun guides us through the city showing all the beauty and majesty of the buildings, all as massive and rich in their decorations... a cathedral which contains a wide range of paintings from El Greco stays an exception!!

Passage à Palencia

Cultural field trip organised by the office to visit a brand new building, 3 hours up North from Madrid. Plenty of time to admire the contryside, listen to some spamish music "muy tipica", and get some very interesting lectures about the ancient buildings we passed by, by Oscar, the boss.

On the way up, we stopped by a very tiny wisigoth church. Very instructive expedition!

Riahuelas...Rita's paradise

Rita is our lovely hostess! Isabelle's mum's friend, she is kindly landing her flat to us in Madrid and this last week end of september she took us to her house in the Castellan "campo".

Amazing week end between the deep blue sky, the red earth and yellow fields that draw the horizon. Thanks to Isabelle who took all those pictures.
